no.... it's both xD the anime is these books: kingdom hearts 1 is split nto 4 books chain of memories is spilt into 2 books and kingdom hearts 2 has 2 biiks so far

the artist: shirio amano, makes it not exactly like the game but, adds funny things like when sora and those guysdonald and giify...) go to the gummi ship for the first time, sora starts touching everything and the chipmunks hit him in the nose with a broom handle... lol?
